BARN CHURCH
This old church was built in 1796 and is still standing. It is one of the finest examples of a barn church in Ireland, one of only three that remain, I believe.
The long narrow plan is most unusual with the alters on the rear wall and the congregation- men to the south and women to the north, facing each other with seperate doors for each to enter.
